MEMBERSHIP OF IMAAMS
ELIGBILITY CRITERIAS
Life members of IMA possessing Postgraduate qualifications recognized by Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council or Postgraduate qualifications awarded by National, Foreign Universities/ Academies / College as approved by Governing Council of Academy, shall be eligible for enrolment. Please note that filling up of application forms & payment of membership fees at the Branch Chapter level does not confirm your membership. IMAAMS (HQ) gives the membership and only after confirmation from the HQ the membership is valid. Life Membership certificate is sent directly to the member from HQ and upon receiving it is the responsibility of the concerned member to produce a photocopy of the above membership certificate to Branch Chapter.
FEES PAYABLE
Life Membership Fees of the Academy is Rs. 1000.00. Add Branch Chapter handling charges Rs. 200/- Total Rs. 1200/- paid by a/c payee cheque drawn in favour of “Behala Medical Association A/c IMAAMS”
Please note that a minimum of 2-3 months time for the processing is necessary.
FELLOWSHIP
Life Members of the Academy for 3 years can apply for fellowship with fees & all credentials. Members who become fellows can write “ F.I.A.M.S ” against their name. No member is allowed to suffix M.I.A.M.S against their name on becoming member of the academy.
